Beer! For the Gluten Free!

Beer!

One of the biggest disappointments for Pete when he had to go gluten free was having to give up beer! So he was quite excited to see a stand with beer at the Gluten Free Show - it was Stoke Aromatic Nelson Pale Ale. It doesn't have gluten free on the bottle as it is actually 3 parts of gluten per million so if you are Coeleac it may not be for you. US regulations state to be gluten free is less than 20 parts of gluten per million so the Nelson Pale Ale is definitely under that. It is 4.2% alcohol and the great thing about it is Pete likes it!

Scotts have a gluten free pale ale that is marketed as gluten free. Unfortunately Pete does not like this much but I know others that do.

There is also a chestnut lager that is gluten free called Cheslic made by The Nuts Brewing Company. It is 4.1% alcohol and definitely an acquired taste!
